 CALLING ALL STUDENTS IN 2009!
DFW International Airport, the Federal Aviation Administration and American Airlines are pleased to invite students, ages Elementary through High School, to attend the Six Annual Career Expo at DFW Airport.
If you would like to be a part of the 2009 AVIATION & TRANSPORTATION CAREER EXPO, please fill-out our ATTENDEE or EXHIBITOR registration forms.
We were honored to have Jamail Larkins as the 2008 Career Expo Grand Marshal. At the age of 14, he became one of the youngest American pilots to solo a powered aircraft in Canada. With over 1,200 hours of flight time in 36 different types of aircraft, Jamail now makes appearances at air shows, hosts radio shows, writes columns for aviation publications and much, much more. Representatives from industry, government and academia have joined forces to
introduce our community youth and educators to a multitude of career paths offered
by the aviation and transportation industry. Numerous static aircraft, vehicles
displays and information booths representing various aspects of the aviation
and transportation community will provide the backdrop for this dynamic educational
experience.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about the work environment of organizations such as DFW International Airport, American Airlines, Federal Aviation Adminitration, Civil Air Patrol, Tarrant County College, the U.S. Department of Transportation, Texas Air National Guard and many more.
