General Information

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport’s Aviation & Transportation Career Expo gives students from Dallas/Fort Worth and the neighboring communities an opportunity to learn about careers, ask questions of industry experts and enjoy a hands-on experience in a variety of aviation and transportation fields – from piloting a major airline plane to managing a local or national rail line or driving an emergency response vehicle.

New for 2018
This year’s event will take place at American Airlines Hangar #5 only.
Students will be dropped off and picked up at the hangar.

DFW International Airport hosts more than 2,500 students at its annual Aviation & Transportation Career Expo – one of the largest educational events of the year in North Texas. We want to give a special thanks all our past Exhibitors for making the Career Expo a success and introducing our community’s youth and educators to the multitude of career paths offered by the aviation and transportation industry.

Students at the Expo are encouraged to see the latest technology from many transportation fields, as well as view demonstrations from a large array of exhibitors including the Civil Air Patrol, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Lockheed Martin, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and others. Numerous static aircraft, vehicles displays and information booths representing various aspects of the aviation and transportation community are available to everyone attending this dynamic educational experience.
