Dallas Fort Worth International Airport’s Aviation & Transportation Career Expo gives students from Dallas/Fort Worth and the neighboring communities an opportunity to learn about careers, ask questions of industry experts and enjoy a hands-on experience in a variety of aviation and transportation fields – from piloting a major airline plane to managing a local or national rail line or driving an emergency response vehicle.
Friday, October 4, 2019 Grades 6-12, College 9:30am - 1:30pm
[ arrival times ] 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am
Student attendance is broken into three arrival times, allowing a 2-hour window for North Texas area students can meet industry experts, see top-quality aircrafts and vehicles, and enjoy a hands-on experience in a variety of aviation and transportation fields.
Students attending the Career Expo must arrange their own transportation to and from the event.

Additional Instructions
- Students are to be supervised at all times! Teachers should stay with students when they are near the aircraft and other displays
- Teachers should remind students they are not allowed to touch or sit on any of the aircraft/displays unless they are allowed by the pilot or owner
- Unless instructed, students are not allowed inside any of the aircraft

Students at the Expo are encouraged to see the latest technology from many transportation fields, as well as view demonstrations from a large array of exhibitors including the Civil Air Patrol, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Lockheed Martin, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and others. Numerous static aircraft, vehicles displays and information booths representing various aspects of the aviation and transportation community are available to everyone attending this dynamic educational experience. |
